When a student begins practicing the art, he or she focuses on attaining the ultimate black belt. He/ she then splits the long term goal into various short term goals (the other color belts before the black belt).

Everyone is ranked depending on the belt they currently own. There will always be certain tests that students will be put through to prove they deserve the level. During tests, there is also a chance to learn so much from the instructors. This includes the strengths one has and also the negative aspects that they carry with them.

Family and life-success values are instilled to the martial artists. The class offers an environment that is aimed at promoting respect and courtesy. It instills discipline, patience as well as encouraging the practice of humility above ego.

There is nothing that is often stressed more than being the first when it comes to sporting activities. It is a breath of fresh air to get something different. This is what martial arts offers. Students are taught that there is more to life than that. They learn that is important to be humble no matter the outcome of a competition as great skill is the main advantage here.
